Manipulation bill in the House!
Our manipulation bill now has a companion in the House: HB 1918. Sponsors are Reps Liias, Warnick, Ericksen, Upthegrove, Kagi, Hunt, Hinkle and Williams. Although it’s not showing up on the bill search page yet it will be there soon. Here’s the Senate version page:
I just read the proposed bill and it seemed to me that you are getting what you want in grade 5 mobilization but the non advertising and the proof of training for anyone graduating before 2009 could be another hang up down the line. What are your thoughts on it?
The PTWA lobbyist says that it won't get a hearing this year and that legislators said we need to work with the chiros on it. Maybe next year the language will be clearer and more forceful (re: Brad's comment)
